Elizabeth decided to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner after working as a nurse for ten years. She enjoyed being a part of a healthcare team and being a nurse practitioner has allowed her the ability to form longer term relationships with patients around their care and health.She really appreciates the opportunity to be a part of a care team consisting of other providers, the patient and their family members. It is great to work together as a team to positively affect the health of the patient. Elizabeth mentioned that she seems to learn something new every day.Elizabeth’s mother has been a nurse for almost 30 years and she credit her as being her biggest influence in life. Elizabeth enjoys reading, outdoor activities and spending time with her family in her spare time.I really enjoy the field of urology.
