Dr. Elizabeth Marie Breen, MD

You could tell she knew before I even got there that she wasn’t going to help me. Made me come in, pay a copay, took time off of my job I just started after being unemployed, and she told me there was nothing she could do for me. I asked her why she couldn’t remove the hemorrhoids I’ve been dealing with for 3 years, rectal bleeding and excess skin near that area that makes it hard to keep clean and blocks that area making it hard to go to the bathroom and causing me pain. She said she didn’t feel it necessary to remove any of them. I said I know plenty of people that have had them removed and were better for it. She said well you won’t be getting that from me. She could tell I was very upset where I was almost in tears and she was so cold. I’m sick of living in pain. If I could give ZERO stars I would. She is so cold and in it only for the money. If she knew she couldn’t help me she shouldn’t have had me come in. I had already been in there before so the last person who inspected me… gave her my file and information about my situation. WORST DOCTOR I’VE EVER MET!! Runn!!!!!!

I had extensive two-part g-pouch colectomy, And Dr. Breen was excellent before, during and after. Answered all my questions, referred me to GREAT gastroenterologist for second opinion. Fine job, respectful of my concerns.

Some doctors take their oath seriously. Some don’t.

After having a complicated diverticulitis w/perforation. I felt the best place to be was in Boston if I needed surgery. Waited 3 weeks for my appt. Dr. Breen was very rude, did not listen to my symptoms, mind you I was hospitalized twice even had to go home with IV antibiotics for two weeks because my infection wouldn't clear, so there was a lot of info she needed to listen to. Inaccurately diagnosed me with IBS. (what I like to cal I don't know what your B owel S ymptoms are) She actually held up her hand to me to tell me to stop talking. Overall spent like 5 minutes with me.She sent me for colonoscopy I had to wait TWO weeks for the results and call them three times for it. (The GI sent the results to them 1 wk after it was done) I then had severe pain in the LLQ region she told me to call my primary or go to ER that my symptoms were not due to div or adhesions. A week later I had to go to local ER and have another CT, I have colitis!! Her attitude is the worst I have ever… experienced in the medical field!!! Much time was wasted because of her and is why I ended up in the ER with another attack!

Dr. Breen cared for my daughter for a long period of time , and did extensive surgery on her. She was absolutely dedicated to her care, was always professional, and my daughter is now living with 100% better quality of life, which I fully attribute to the care of Dr. Breen and Dr. Peter Banks. Highly recommend.

My overall experience with Doctor Breen and her staff was nothing short of EXCELLENT and PROFESSIONAL, I was very comfortable with her as I was a male patience, Dr. Breen was always timely and focused on my case and I thank her greatly for that and the successful outcome of my case. Her administrative staff and medical team was GREAT to both me and my family always, I've decided to stay with Dr. Breen rather than my local RI doctors that I wasn't confident in relating to my case. Thank you Doctor Breen for another chance to continue life.

Dr. Breen showed no interest in my case. I brought in reports and my x ray disc related to my problem. She barely looked at them. My daughter called her 3 times and Dr. Breen never returned her call. I called her receptionist twice asking for the return of my x ray, and she never returned either my ex ray disc or my call. I have since found a surgeon who is interested in my case and is compassionate.

I was under Dr. Breens care for an extended period. Over teh course of several months and a few hospital stays, I saw her many, many times. She always took teh time to listen, was neer rushed and I felt was extremely compassionate and caring. I would not hesitate recommending her to friends or family.
