Dr. Elizabeth T Cerrone, DO

Dr Cerrone is completely incompetent. Whatever you do, do NOT let her perform any type of surgery on you! Without going into personal detail, she ruined me for life!

Two years ago this woman did not bother to counsel me to loose any weight before my hyst. I now have a huge hernia and am awaiting surgery. There is something wrong with doctors like this. She was with Graybill on Second Ave Escondido CA. She prided herself with her incision that she kept talking about what a great job she did. But failed in the weightier , no pun intended, matters. Like having a successful surgery by having the patient loose weight. I've lost most my faith in the medical community. She also let my x husband in the OR when I specifically told her I did not want him anywhere near me. How's that for professionalism? Good luck consumers.

I would not recommend her to anyone for anything. Worst doctor I've ever dealt with. Because of her mistakes I have lost a lot of time out of my life. There was no remorse either.

Dr. Cerrone delivered my 2 daughters. She was kind, caring and her bedside manner was excellent.

Several years ago, I saw Dr. Cerrone. As I am in need for another important test, I wanted to read some of the review to see if it was just my opinion about my experience in her office. The procedure was painful (nurse was very caring), but there was no real connection or sensitivity on Dr. Cerrone's part. Now, I know that I need to schedule with someone else. This is unfortunate because most women want to see a female Ob-Gyn and there are just a few in our area. A fine doctor is not only a medical professional but needs to have "bedside manners". There is a certain level of anxiety when one sees a physician and it should be taken into consideration.

"Dr." Cerrone delayed cancer treatment for over 2.5 months. She lied to me why this delay occurred. She scheduled my surgery and then cancelled it the day before (I had already done the bowel cleanse!!!!). She never apologized. She is a shameful example of a doctor and way below the standard of care. BE AWARE!!!!

I knew I should have never gone back after my 1st,3 appointments were screwed up. I wasted 1month just waiting to get my 1st appt & another 3 arguing with the staff about everything from them changing appointments witbout warning & sending me to specialist an hour away and getting there & them telling me that Cerrones people didnt put the request in in time for my insurance to approve it. They last few weeks I called them once a day to speak to Dr Cerrone myself & was told by her secretary that I could not speak to her. I finally gave up, im 6 1/2 months now looking for a new Dr. Don't waste your time unless you want the extra stress!

As somebody said in the reviews, she had a foot out before she stepped in. the procedure she performed was very painful, and then she just took off, without asking me if I had any questions or what to do in case of more pain. She might be a good doctor for some, and a cancer survivor, but I will change my doctor right away.

I thought that she was the worst doctor I've ever seen. I responded to a survey / questionairre rec'd from SCMG listing my grievances and requesting a phone call f/u. Never got one, and now always dispose of their request for survey feedback whenever I am seen by another SCMG MD (or DO). I'm a physician's wife and an RN so my observations have validity... She was incredibly painful w/ a procedure that she performed, was unconcerned and threatening - "well I'll just have to put you under anesthesia if you don't cooperate" - she was so unskilled with a biopsy done in her dressed up street clothes that she apparently didn't want to "dirty."
