Dr. Elizabeth Kay Chung, MD

My mom was referred to this provider by her primary care doctor. Her primary care doctor is fantastic and we always trusted his referral! However, this provide failed to exhibit any good bedside demeanors in every single visit. She was very abrupt and rude, and showed no interest in interacting and communicating with my mom and I regarding the situation. We've been having great patient experience with all other doctors in Advocate Condell since the beginning, except this provider. She definitely does not represent Advocate in a good way.

I was sent to Dr. Chung with a diagnosis of Low Platelets. Upon my first appointment she initially took the time to sit with me in order to help me understand my condition and "talk me off the ledge" regarding the various "less critical" aspects of my condition. She has always made herself available to me and she consistently displays a caring and compassionate demeanor. The staff at Northshore is outstanding and work well together to care for and treat the whole patient.
