Dr. Elizabeth G Dejesus, MD

My insurance company suggested I contact Dr. DeJesus to schedule an appointment since she was taking new patients. I called the office 15 times between 9-14-2020 and 9-17-2020. I also left 3 messages for a return call. I called every hour from 9A to 5P on the 17th and got the recording each time. I called this morning (9-21-2020) before office hours to speak with the answering service to see if they could help me get through to speak with a staff member. The service didn’t listen to what I was asking and abruptly transferred me to a different recorded line. How the office staff functions and deals with patients is a direct reflection in the physician. I will also let my insurance company know about my experience. Hopefully they will remove her from their list of available physicians.

When it comes to the Doctor she's great but a doctors reputation is based on her office staff. Unfortunately, this doctors hasn't heard many of the complaints from her clientle. She needs someone who will not only monitor her staff a lot closer but also deal with the daily paperwork which needs to be put out promptly. If behavior issues in staff is left unchecked and is found to disrupt the flow of daily work the doctor will be finding herself with clients who not return. She must do an evaluation of her staff immediately.

I LOVE DR DEJESUS AS SO FAR SHE HAS BEEN ABLE TO PINPOINT MY ISSUES WITHOUT GOING TO THE SPECIALIST. SHE NAILED IT WHILE I WAS GOING TO A NEUR. FOR OVER 6 MONTHS AND HE DIDN'T DO A THING FOR ME. THE ONLY ISSUE I DO HAVE IS THE WAIT TO SEE HER, BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE IT ALL.

Unfortunately the woman who handles all the incoming calls and registers patients is the most unprofessional and unresponsive I have ever met. She does not answer the phone after 2pm, when she does answer the phone she puts you on hold for minutes or more! Then she lies! Never follows through, I have spent 2 weeks trying to get a prescription refilled!!! Horrible!

waited 7 months for test results - reception is not helpful extremely rude - hangs up calls and ignores messages. do not recommend if you need a reliable medical care professional this is not the place to go.

I've seen this doctor once. I've scheduled many appts, all with the same ending. I would leave because the wait time was ridiculous. Today, I had a 10:15 am appt. I was due to go to work for 12pm. I arrived at her office at 930 am. 11am came around and I went up to the receptionist and told her" I have work soon.. how much longer do I have to wait?" she responded, " The doctor is on her way in and you will be the first one she will see." WHAT????? the office opens at 9am... I arrived at 930 am for a 1015am appt and at 11 am she isn't even in for the day??? I voiced my frustratation and come to find out there was another patient scheduled to see her at 1015 also.... he came in at 9am....... Before leaving at 1130 a new patient asked me how I like coming to see this doctor..... I couldn't help but laugh

Dr. Dejesus is a very caring doctor. At times you might have to wait an 1 in her waiting room but it's just because she doesn't push patients out the door. She actual takes her time with you a d answers all your questions and focuses on your concerns. I'm happy to have as my doctor.
