Dr. Elizabeth Anne Doriott, DO

I will immediately be making this Doctor PCP for my entire family

This is the most ridiculous place of profession I have ever witnessed. Dr. Doriott lacks communication skills, education of diagnosis, blurts out whatever comes to her mind or what she feels and she is irresponsible when caring for others. If everyone speaks up and involves their insurance companies and take this matter serious possibly many lives could be saved, wrong diagnosis would cease and people being prescribed medicine that will cause other organs to fail and other parts to become affected.

Her staff is unfriendly and rude. That really says something about the doctors because they are aware and let their staff treat patients this way. It's because Dr. Doriott is just as rude and unprofessional as they are. Her behavior is all over the place. One visit she is as sweet as pie, and the next she is kicking you out of her office. She can be very deceiving . Don't be fooled by her like I was. I was having issues passing out after being her patient. I was terrified and so were my kids. She would not take me seriously and just guessed at why I was passing out. I questioned her theory and I guess that made her mad because she said "That's enough of that. You've done enough complaining for the day." I was in shock that she just spoke to me like I was a child and said that my health concerns were complaints. I stared at her in disbelief and then she looked me in the eyes and glared at me. I calmly said "Please don't ever speak to me that way again." She jumped up and told me to… get out of her office that she wasn't the doctor for me. She left the room and I just got up and left. She kicked me out for no good reason. Now I am very happy she did. Within a few weeks I was hospitalized and had to have multiple tests for the fainting. They couldn't figure out why I was passing out. Two weeks later I was back in the ER for the same reason. Now I am seeing a cardiologist and he took me off most of the medications she prescribed, and I haven't passed out since. We think it was all because she over medicated me. My blood pressure was dropping to low because of all the medications I was on. She prescribed me 9 new medications in one day, on top of the three I was already taking. I was told later that doctors shouldn't start someone on so many new medications at once because if you have bad side effects it's hard to pinpoint which of the medications are causing the issue. Later I got my medical records and saw that she put that I was combative on the day she got nasty with me. She was the combative one. Then I realized that she never even documented my fainting episodes or many of the other symptoms I reported to her. She also put things down that were false. She reported that she gave me advice that she never did or that she palpated my stomach and she never even touched me except to listen to my heart. She totally fudges her medical records. After she kicked me out I looked into her, that's when I saw all the negative reviews. I also saw everything about her prior issues with the Ohio medical board and the criminal charges that were against her. She actually admitted to writing prescriptions for her staff to fill for her. She was, maybe still is, addicted to prescription drugs. She got lucky and got off on a technicality. If you read everything from the criminal case and the medical board you will see the truth. This lady should not be allowed to practice medicine. If you haven't went to her yet don't, if you are a current patient run because she is dangerous. Don't trust her with your life.

Dr. Doriott is unprofessional and needs to be open to patient symptoms that she has no experience in and do a few minutes of research. We all learn something new everyday. Labeling a patient as delusional because the doctor doesn't know the cause of the symptoms is lazy and putting a negative, defamatory, and incorrect label on the patient.

Her staff is rude and has no compassion. She is a good Dr if you are able to get into see her . To many patients, and not enough open time slots for a sick appointment. I refuse to return to her office due to the rudeness of her staff.

Dr. Doriott is kind and intelligent. The staff seems very harried, sometimes very nice, other times very cranky -- you don't want to set them off, as they go tell the doc and she backs them up totally. I guess that's what you want in a boss, but not as a customer. Really like the doc, but staff makes me want to go elsewhere.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. STAFF IS COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT, AND RUDE. INSTEAD OF LETTING ME TALK TO THE DOCTOR WHEN I WAS IN PAIN, THEY ACCUSED ME OF BEING A DRUG ADDICT. I AM COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY AND IN SHOCK BY THEIR TREATMENT AND ACCUSATIONS. THE STAFF SAID DR. DORIOTT WILL NOT TREAT ME, AND SAID IT WAS BECAUSE OF MY ATTITUDE. WHAT A JOKE! IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT YOU ARE NOT USED TO PEOPLE ASKING YOU INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS AND THAT IS WHAT YOU CONSIDER "ATTITUDE. " PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT GROUP. IN TOTAL, DR. DORIOTT YOU ARE UNETHICAL AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF AND YOUR STAFF.

I have had a horrible experience with this doctor and the medical office staff being extremely unprofessional, rude, and dishonest. I agree with other reviews that Dr. Doriott is very hard to get in to see, as she is always out of the office...not dependable. When I did see her, she acted very off-the-wall and easily distracted. I do believe this woman is on drugs or alcohol...and is probably either manic bipolar or has multi-personality disorder. After my bad experience, I did more research with the Ohio Medical Board and found a lot of information on how she got her medical license indefinitely suspended in 2004 and failed to comply with Board-ordered examinations...a legal document stated that "The doctors ability to practice is impaired because of habitual or excessive use or abuse of drugs, alcohol, or other substances that impair ability to practice." I also read that narcotics were illegally being distributed under her name as well. I do not condone doctors with shady… practices such as Dr. Doriott's and WILL NOT recommend ANYONE to her practice. I was very disappointed with her extreme lack of professionalism and inappropriate behavior. UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE. I rank her an F.

I agree with what everyone else has said.the office personnel at this office are rude, nasty, disrespectful mean, sad, nasty people. They should not be working in this field. The doctor was okay but I did not trust her after I brought her with us. I don't know if she was doing drugs or not when I was there. 1 visit she's happy go lucky listen to what you have to say, another visit she's out there in left field as if she doesn't know what's going on. Make an appointment to see her is almost impossible I was out of town never in office like the hours she will be.on a scale of 1 to 10 i give this office and personal and doctors a 1 and I will give them an f writing also
