Dr. Elizabeth Mikhael Emberley, DO

I saw Dr. Emberley on a visit in the late third term of pregnancy. She was not prepared for my visit, did not review my history or test/exam results and was not open to listening to my thoughts and opinions on labor/delivery. She was very dismissive and quick to get me out of the patient room. I was in the room with her for maybe 5 minutes. I would NEVER recommend her to a friend. After this visit, I called the midwife that I had regularly seen and got back on the right track for labor and delivery. The visit with Dr. Emberley was very upsetting and frustrating.

I found Dr. Emberley’s bedside manner to be quite charming. She made me feel at ease with an exam which can often be uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing in nature. I appreciated her sense of humor and refreshing lighthearted personality.

This Gynecologist has absolutely no empathy for her patients. To be a female doctor and not try and understand and comfort a patient who is going through alot. She does not have the compassion and sensitivity needed to be an OB/GYN Doctor. Dr Emberley needs to improve her social skills and handle every patient walking through her doors with compassion and understanding. She is dismissive. Female examinations are already intimidating and stressful as it it, therefore patients expect and hope the Doctor would be gentle and empathetic.
