Dr. Elizabeth Engel, MD

The office is not child friendly, which is a problem since it's primarily for children. Dr. Engel was extremely curt and almost rude, I would say. She never bothered to introduce herself, which I find very disrespectful. I can't imagine feeling so important that I actually treated someone else this way. She did not explain a single thing to me that I was concerned about with exception to one issue that I pressed for further explanation. She spoke to me as though I was ignorant. After lazily pointing in a general direction and telling me to have my daughter stand up, she then proceeded to tell me not to stand her on the ottoman I thought she had pointed to. She told me not to stand her there because she would fall and get hurt. Why would I just put my daughter up on an ottoman and let go of her to let her fall off and get hurt? My baby can barely stand, and that's why I was there. Why would I do this? I left with a referral for a neurologist with ZERO explanation as to why. I was left… in the room with no instruction as to whether or not we were done and we could leave or if I needed to stay. I just left. 100% believe she treated me this way because my child is not vaccinated. She asked me as rudely as possible why she wasn't vaccinated, and it was all downhill from there.
