Dr. Elizabeth Dianne Ferluga, MD

She is very passionate, knowledgeable and is a great doctor

After several years under her care I highly recommend her for her knowledge, kindness, listening skill, patience, caring concern and empathy, and her overall performance. My opinion is that anyone able to get under her care will count them self fortunate.

I have been seen by Dr. Ferluga for several years now for cervical dystonia. Dr. Ferluga is a great caring Neurologist and also a great person.

Dr. Ferluga is absolutely amazing and I would reccomend her to anyone. She was very kind, thoughtful and VERY thorough.

She is smart,personable and compassionate. She listens to you. I really like and respect Elizabeth.

A great physician with a personality. However, when results are wanted, the personality is second in the list, but it is so refreshing to have both. She has both. Kudos!

winter of 2010, I became severely ill. I had tremors so bad that I had trouble walking, feeding myself etc. On top of that I lost 75 pounds and had amnesia and wanted to sleep all the time. My parents had taken all over to try to get to the bottom of this. Finally, I was taken to Vanderbilt ER, where I saw Dr. Ferluga--not yet an attending. She reviewed my symptoms, medical history, medications...and after confurring with her attending diagnosed me with severe medication induced parkinson's diaease. I was taken off the medication. Over the next 2 months, I gradually started coming back. I lost nearly five months of my life--and could have died--without the diagnosis and continued follow-up with Dr. Ferluga. She has continued to monitor me in periodic appointments and tests. Referrals she made have also diagnosed me with severe obstructive sleep apnea and carpal tunnel syndrome. She is thorough, kind and a truly great doctor.
