Elizabeth J. Field, NP

Liz Field, DNP, has joined the staff of PeaceHealth’s family medicine clinic at Barger.
She earned her doctor of nursing practice from the University of Nevada-Reno, and is a board certified family nurse practitioner.
She has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years, starting as a medical assistant.
With recent experience working on an inpatient telemetry unit, she has a special interest in maintaining her patients’ heart health, including managing chronic cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, heart failure and atrial fibrillation.
She takes a holistic approach when working with her patients.
“It’s not just medical care per se, but it’s really about having the patient involved in their care and coming up with a plan together, sharing the decision making with them, finding what works with their own goals,” she said.
When not at work, Field is learning to play piano, and in addition to reading, she enjoys walking with her golden retriever, Piper.
