Had me in tears by the time I left her office. Do not recommend!

She's tough, and no-nonsense, but you can tell she cares very deeply about helping women feel better, both physically and mentally. She listens well and explains things, but she doesn't sugar coat anything. I can imagine some might find that a bit abrasive, but I appreciated hearing things I needed to hear. It was hard at the time, but I knew then and I know now she was right. She was also trying to get the best results possible, and I needed to be part of the solution. She even asked me what she could do that would be help me feel better. No doctor has EVER asked me that. I wasn't even sure what to say, I'm so used to being told by a doctor what I'm going to do. So once I told her my main goal, she instantly started putting together a plan for us to achieve the goal I said was most important. So now I'm invested in the solution. I don't always like the solution, and it's not always easy, but I'm willing to try because she's in the fight with me. Anyway, she may not be for… everyone, but if you're a fighter, and committed to trying to get better, she'll get in the fight with you. I would imagine if you are just looking for drugs or an easy way out, she's not going to give it to you. Plus, her nurse/medical assistant is completely amazing. She made getting ready for the appointment so easy, and it made the time with Dr. Gath go much more smoothly. I hope this helps!

Horrible doctor... painful pelvic exam.. she made me bleed and then she laughed at me...called me obese at 5'6" and 145 lbs... while overwieght a bit, certainly NOT obese...DO NOT RECOMMEND TO TREAT EVEN A LIZARD!!!

This was by far the rudest person I have ever experienced. I would not even recommend her to treat an animal.

I am a 54 yr. old menopausal woman with a very small frame. After receiving my physical and requesting a bone density, I was told that she does not believe in them since we all lose bone mass. REALLY??? No baseline necessary???

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Gath. She misdiagnosed me treating me with antibiotics when I didn't need them and her pelvic exams were painful and unnecessarily invasive. When I requested a full STD screening she refused to test me for everything and her and her staff made me feel ashamed for asking.

I am a healthy young woman with some minor health issues (allergies, dry eye, some back pain from a degenerated disc). I am healthy weight and eat healthy and do not smoke, use drugs, or consume alcohol to excess. Dr. Gath made me feel like I was killing myself, criticizing my intake of artificial sweeteners, lack of proper exercise, and saying I was poisoning myself and "no wonder I have so many problems." She said she needed to see my bare backside to check my posture as I tried to close my gown and gave me "trick questions" about breast self-exams as she ripped open my gown - none of her behavior was discreet and I felt very uncomfortable. I almost believed her criticisims until she even criticized the fact that I buy my vitamins and supplements at drug stores and Wal-Mart (promoting her own vitamin line, of course) and saying I could give myself mercury poisoning from store bought fish oil. I thought I was doing a good thing for my health by even taking supplements! I found… her pushy, rude, and extremely condescending and she made me very uncomfortable. Meanwhile, for the problems I had she would only tell me to stop consuming Splenda as that was likely causing all of my problems. I am hoping to find another primary care doctor before returning for my next physical.

Dr Gath is the Best Dr i ever Visited. Very Straight foward, Takes her time to get to the bottom of your problem
