Dr. Elizabeth A Gibson, MD

"I am a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2001 and completed my pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2004.
After residency, I worked in the Emergency Department at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Upon moving to the Lehigh Valley in 2008, I started working at St. Luke's Kidscare in Bethlehem, Allentown, and Easton. I joined St. Luke's Coopersburg Pediatrics in 2013.
I love being a pediatrician! It is a privilege to learn each family's story and to watch a child grow and develop from infancy into childhood and adolescence. I enjoy keeping children healthy with regular visits, medical advice, and immunizations. Special interests include healthy eating, exercise, early childhood literacy, the effects of media on children, and behavioral issues. My goal is to treat each child in the same way I would want my own children treated.
Outside of pediatric medicine, I love …spending time with my husband and 3 children. I enjoy watching my children participate in cross country, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and community theater. My own hobbies include reading, running, and baking dessert as well as cheering on the University of Notre Dame.
