Dr. Elizabeth Carlton Grueneberger, MD

Dr. Grueneberger is one of the most capable psychiatrists I have ever met. She is warm, caring, and funny. I was able to open up to her in a way that I have not been able to open up to previous psychiatrists. She has a way of putting her patients at ease. She remembers details from your previous visit (names of friends, family, even pets). She is one in a million and anyone who is now a patient of hers should consider themselves lucky. She is the kind of doctor who goes the extra mile. There aren't many like her :)

I am a former patient of this Dr., and I find that her insights were spot-on. In retrospect I find she knew me better than I knew myself, and I am grateful for her perspective.

It was with no small amount of trepidation that I approached my appointment, for Psychiatry was something that I did not want to subject myself to. I felt that to do so would be an admission that I was somehow a defective soul. My issue was essentially a negative reaction to a course of therapy.Dr. Grueneberger allayed my concerns and put me at ease. She listened and together with her associate/mentor, Dr. Giraldo, developed a plan to help me overcome the reaction to the therapy I had experienced. I left the office with a feeling that everything will be alright. Dr. Grueneberger is, I suppose what one would term a neophyte to her profession, and that being the case she demonstrated that she is fully capable of giving the best care. I know I have a great Doctor taking care of my condition and I consider myself fortunate to have been assigned her as my care giver.
