Blaine Guelde-Patel, Integrative Nurse Practitioner

Blaine Guelde-Patel is an integrative nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. She is dedicated to helping patients navigate their healing journey through a balanced approach that includes medication management, non-medication techniques, and whole-person wellness strategies.

Integrative and Whole-Person Care

Blaine is committed to being a supportive and positive presence in her patients’ lives. Her care philosophy centers on treating the whole person, with an emphasis on physical, emotional, and holistic well-being. She incorporates both traditional and integrative methods to support healing and improve quality of life.

Clinical Experience

Blaine began her nurse practitioner career in acute pain management at the University of Maryland’s R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where she worked for two and a half years. In 2016, she expanded her focus to integrative medicine at the University of …Maryland’s Center for Integrative Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.

During that time, she gained training and experience in a variety of mind-body approaches, including:

• Reiki
• Mindfulness techniques
• Yoga nidra
• Expressive arts
• Other integrative and holistic therapies

From 2016 to 2020, she worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to research, education, clinical care, and leadership.

Education and Advanced Training

Blaine earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, now known as AdventHealth University. She completed her Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 2013.

In 2019, she further advanced her training by earning a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate through the University of Cincinnati’s post-graduate program.

Founder of Integrative Health and Healing

In 2021, Blaine founded Integrative Health and Healing, a practice centered on the principles of holistic and integrative medicine. Her work reflects a deep commitment to helping patients heal, grow, and thrive through individualized, whole-person care.
