Dr. Elizabeth John, MD

I saw Dr John 1x and she immediately diagnosed my problem as being my high blood pressure medication as adding to my depression and also my not remembering things..I had thought I was having early dementia because my dad had it..Dr John is a wonderful and most caring Dr...I absolutely would go to no one else..very caring and compassionate!

At 52 years old, Dr John was the first doctor connected the dots of my physical and mental health. I was diagnosed with ADHA and within 6 weeks my life began to change in ways I never dreamed. (I know! I thought it was an "illness" for boys who couldn't sit still in school.) After 2 years in her care, I am functioning in my career, relationships and inner-being with focus, calm, and success . My family was the first to witness these changes and we all thank God for Dr John and her depth of knowledge and care.

Dr. Elizabeth John is empathetic and understanding. But what makes her stand out is her exceptional gift of connecting with patients, and her ability for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Her integrity is second-to-none. Her commitment to her calling never wavers. She is an amazing doctor! I was her patient for over a decade in California.

Dr John is an excellent psychiatrist, her knowledge is stellar. She has the utmost empathy for her patients and will not give up on them!

What a shame to have such an insensitive individual in a field which it's patients already have been stigmatized, and failed by the system! Another disgusting person after your money! You are just another number not worth caring for!!!

Dr. Elizabeth John has an amazing practice. She has treated me for depression and OCD. I continue to go to her since I cannot find anyone I am more comfortable with. I paid cash since she was not on the list of doctors under my insurance. Dr. John is very thorough in her diagnosis. She patiently worked with me until I overcame most of my OCD and depression. We tried various medications and therapy until we found the right combination. I can say that I have been very blessed to have found her.

She is an awesome Doctor, I wouldn't stop going to her for the world. She is expensive but she knows what she is doing, asks many questions before making diagnosis. She doesn't always spend as much time with me as I would like and often it is less than the 30 minute paid for. Her office staff of 1 is often quite rude. I think she's from NY or something, very abrasive and brash. I would prefer to communicate by email as well with the office staff but they don't do that. Probably due to the age of the receptionist. It's always a hassle to get the receptionist to do something for you. Too bad otherwise Dr. John would be perfect. Oh well I will deal with it, I suppose.

Has no interest in follow up even after her patient is hospitalized. Doesn't spend enough time for an accurate diagnosis but quick to prescribe some medication.
