Accurate diagnosis. (clear) Concise communication. The "fix" - painless and as non-invasive as possible. I would Recommend.

I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time to see Dr. Knobler. When I finally did, I told her I had a few freckles I would like her to take a look. Her response? "Yeah, hurry up." I was absolutely floored by her response. Not only is it completely rude and unprofessional of her to say, but it also made me feel extremely uncomfortable about asking any questions at all. I have had unpleasant experiences with doctors in the past, but this one takes the cake. No wonder it was so easy to get an appointment with her, with such poor bedside manner she must have patients running for the hills.

Outstanding Doctor in regard to her craft. Rude and just not professional individual in their front office staff. Treated like your in a 'herd' just by front office...Again, MD- Excellent! Front Office- Not so much

Had a horrible experience with Dr. Knobler. She is not my usual dermatologist, but I desperately needed an appointment to get my cysts injected so I took what was available. She completely contradicted what my usual two (and certainly more knowledgable) dermatologists Dr. Fogleman and Dr. Olhoffer had told me during prior visits. Her medical opinion should be taken with a grain of salt because I can first hand tell you it is INCORRECT! She tried to tell me that injecting cysts would certainly not make them go away, and you could not inject them more than once or they'd scar. Sorry, but I've had a few prior cysts injected multiple times and they all COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED WITHOUT SCARS! I asked her to inject them anyway, and she said she'd do it, but then said again they'd scar, completely switched topics, and I never got them injected. Then she tried to tell me that excision was the only option to get them completely to go away, but that would scar too. ALSO WRONG! Dr. Olhoffer has… surgically removed two of mine, BOTH healed without scars. Where did this women get her medical license from? Lastly, I had spoke to her about scar treatment options, which we discussed for all of 30 seconds then I was sent on my way. Not to mention I AM THE ONE who brought up what treatment would probably be best. She simply agreed with me, did not discuss any alternative options, and the visit was over.This cost me a day of work and precious time I will never get back.Overall, terrible experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Dr. Knobler is a thoroughly skilled and professional practitioner, who cares about her patients and makes a point of mentoring medical students entering the field of dermatology. She does not push cosmetic procedures or facial products. She recently moved her practice to Rockland County; even though I live very near NY-Presbyterian where she previously practiced, I decided to follow her to her new location.

After a 45 minute wait and no apologies, I was told nothing could be done about my condition and that it may go away on its own after years. I was offered no prescription...not even a paper stating the diagnosis. I am aware that treatments are available to expedite recovery. They may or may not work, or may work less well, but they weren't even mentioned to me as options. Even after spending on copay and getting my insurance billed, I am searching the internet to find the right sunscreen (SPF etc) to use for this condition. I hate writing this negative review but I am very disappointed. Maybe she's a good doctor, I don't know. I wouldn't recommend her though.

The doctor is ok in addressing my main issues, but not very warm or attentive. The wait time was very long, especially since my appointment was for 9am. The staff are not very nice either. When leading me to the exam room, they indicated that they have no idea why I was there. It's not that hard to read a chart before seeing a patient.

Dr. Knobler is a knowledgeable, caring , profesional physician. She will take the time to listen to your needs and perform a careful physical exam. I have recomended her to several friends and colleaques all whom have been very pleased with the care rendered by Dr. Knobler and her staff.
