Dr. Elizabeth Ann Langford, DO

I read the negative reviews and I don't think these other patients know what they're talking about. I'm a patient of hers. I am also in the medical field. I was initially reluctant to go to her because there wasnt a lot of information out there about her when a few years ago but after I met her, I found her to be unlike other doctors... she was kind, patient, and knowledgable. Her office staff did cause me a few inconveniences that I was frustrated about but she is a great physician. Most doctors rush in and rush out but she will take the time to address your concerns, no matter how trivial. I went to a different provider in the same group initially who gave me inappropriate medical advice and dismissed my superficial cosmetic concerns because he didnt think it was worth his time. She was not like that at all. I usually don't leave reviews but I felt the need to correct the patients below for being so dramatic and negative in their review of her. She's been my dermatologist for about… 3 years now. I don't go to her often but every time I do, I am always pleased with her as my dermatologist.

I strongly recommend that you try to see another doctor from this practice, if any. I was supposed to start a skin care product. It would require test (blood and pregnancy) each month for six months. I went to the lab and did the blood work each month. Every time I went to an appointment, they would say there was something wrong between the office and the drug company. They would tell me that they would figure it out for next month. At the next appointment, I would go in and they would ask how the treatment was going. I would say that they had not gotten it to me yet. They would look confused, check the system, and come back stating there was a problem with the office and the drug company... again. This went on for five months. Meanwhile, I was still using my time and money to do the tests. I also would pay a co-pay for the appointments. When I asked for a refund for these, they said I couldn't get a refund because I "saw the doctor". So I was paying a co-pay for Dr. Langford to come… into the room, apologize for the confusion and mistakes, and ask if I had any questions. I probably wasted closed to $300. Each time I went to an appointment, they would say they would fix the issues and then just let my file sit untouched until the next appointment, and the issues never got fixed. I was severely disappointed. In five months, I received nothing from their office.

I have seen the doctor for years. She and her staff are very professional.

I went to Dr Langford for a skin issue. She looked at me for less 3 minutes standing across the room and told me I had an allergy. I informed her ALL former Tests showed I have NO allergies. When she couldn't come up with anything else, She had the nerve to tell me it was all in my head! The next physician I saw, with some testing, pinpointed the problem. In addition to incompetence, she is insulting...and instead of testing, blames the patient when she doesn't know.

Trust me and never go to this doctor you will end up regretting it for the rest of your life. She does not care about her patients what so ever she gave me meds from a tiny problem that ended up causing me two major problems in my life and after my second visit would not even see me. Please do not go to her she ruins lives!!! I would give her no stars if I could.

Dr. Langford always does a full body scan and has found early skin cancer issues on my back. She sent me to Dr. Fife for the surgery. He was informative and very skilled. Dr. Langford always explains in whatever detail I want what the implications are, and "what comes next". Her physician's assistant has been with her for years, and is a jewel.

She came in the exam room and sat on her stool about 6 feet away from me and took notes. Looked at my skin briefly and then went back to her stool and writing. Terrible bedside manner and poor (wrong) diagnosis. A waste of my time.

Waited 90 minutes for an appointment. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me. Looked at my skin for less than 2 seconds up close in room/fluorescent lighting. Then sat across the room from me for the rest of the inappropriately short visit. By the way, I was billed for a "comprehensive visit". Inaccurate diagnosis after barely looking at my skin. Therefore, I was treated with the wrong medications which did not help me. When I tried to call the office to tell the doctor and nurse that the prescribed treatment was not working, got no response after 2 days and called again. Never got a call back. THIS "DOCTOR" IS A COMPLETE JOKE! AVOID!!!

I saw Dr. Langford years and years ago and when I needed a dermatologist recently went out of my way to find her. I've tried a couple others and she is the only one who wasn't rushing me out the door. She was more interested in talking to me about caring for my skin and preventing damage/cancer than trying to sell me some sort of injection. I did have to wait a long time to be seen that day because they were short staffed. I believe she was the only doctor there that day.
