Compassionate, professional, caring, thorough doctor. Dr.Mathias has been my doctor for 13 years. I moved to FL in 2016 and still return to SC just to have my health checked with Dr. Mathias as she is very concerned about me as an individual. Dr. Mathias is the best!

I’ve been seeing Dr.Mathias for 20 years. She’s such a good listener with a BIG heart. She has a lot of attributes. The list is infinite. Keep in mind, you’re not just a number with Dr.Mathias. She carries a lot of respect for others. You will NOT be disappointed.

I normally avoid physicians and hadn't been for decades. Dr Mathias was so caring, thorough and efficient. Her reassuring manner alleviated my fears, and I look forward to my next year's appt. I am so happy to find someone with whom I feel so comfortable.

you don't see the doctor, you see a Nurse Practitioner. If you're on a med, and need more of it - doubtful you'll get it. According to her receptionist, she doesn't prescribe Prozac. Really?

Dr. Mathias is an average doctor, no outstanding quality as a physician, seems to have an attitude problem, doesn't seem like she even cares about or likes people. Nursing staff and CNA's are some of the worst I've ever encountered. Low intelligence levels and poor communication skills.

The nursing staff seems to have issues which is likely the result of Dr. Mathias influence and administration. Nurses lack attention to detail, negative attitude. Dr. Mathias seems to make judgments based solely on blood tests without full examination. Lack interest. Always in a hurry. Twice I had appointments where only the nurse came in and relayed my conversation back to the doctor then came back and told me the doctor's judgment/decision. The nurse's communication accuracy was very suspect.

The clerical staff is good but the nurses need to pay closer attention to details. They sometimes make errors which complicate Dr. Mathias's job. This has happened on three occasions with me.
