Dr. Elizabeth Anne Mayhall, MD

Dr Mayhall is very knowledgeable and kind. She takes her time to explain everything without making you feel rushed or uncomfortable. Her staff is also very accommodating and efficient. Office is very clean. I would highly recommend this office!

If you’re looking for someone compassionate and understanding go elsewhere. Poor bedside manner.

I left this practice at 30 weeks due to this provider's poor bedside comments. I had been with the practice for quite a few years and had a positive experience with all other staff. Throughout my pregnancy, I experienced significant pelvic and back pain, which I experienced in my first pregnancy. I am also a healthcare worker. I struggled with neuropathic pain which would cause my leg to buckle, making me a fall risk. This provider refused to acknowledge my concerns regarding ability to work. She dismissed my valid complaints and told me that I was ineligible to collect TDI for when I was ready to leave work "because they don't do that for pregnancy". Despite my discussion of having previously been eligible for my first pregnancy, she dismissed it. During this visit, I happened to have my autistic child with me. We discussed my son's autism journey briefly. After dismissing my pregnancy related complications, she told me I needed to see a physical therapist (which in the past had… yielded no medical benefit to me) or an orthopedic (which is an inappropriate recommendation - due to the fact that once the pregnancy has completed, my severe pain subsides). She handed me a PT referral slip. She then tells me that, in her exact words, "you can use this as a getaway" and then looks directly at my autistic child and back to me. Inappropriately using a physical therapy referral as a form of respite care from my special needs son was mind boggling. I left the practice on this day in tears. I no longer felt comfortable with her conduct. I felt she was judgmental and completely inappropriate. I did transfer providers due to my lack of comfort with her behavior. Upon receipt of my medical records, she did not document one issue that I reported week after week. I lost weight in my first trimester due to severe nausea - no record of so. My pain worsened each week, which I reported, and was actually offered muscle relaxers, which I declined due to side effect vs. benefit - no record of so. Everything was documented as "pt generally reports feeling well". Upon transferring to my new provider, I was respectfully treated and worked full time for almost another 6 weeks until my severe pain reached its climax at 35-36 weeks. I was losing my balance and nearly falling multiple times a day. My new provider acknowledged my concerns and addressed them. I was able to be placed on a leave of absence earlier than my due date and was able to receive the TDI benefit that I was entitled to, due to it being a pregnancy related complication. Once I gave birth to my child, I was able to return to a fully functioning mobility status working as a healthcare worker without being treated as if I were abusive to a system that provides rights to those who are pregnant. I also did not have to seek unnecessary consults & referrals that would have cost me financially, due to a self limiting pregnancy related issue.

I love Dr. Mayhall. She’s so nice, and explains everything with patience. Her down to earth personality really makes visits enjoyable, and she’s very up front with everything. I felt confident in the care I received for my high risk pregnancy with Dr. Mayhall.

I was assigned to Dr Mayhall when my previous physician left the practice. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Mayhall as well as the Center for ObGyn! Wait times are usually minimal, my questions are always answered, and Dr Mayhall is always smiling!

After several appointments and visits with Dr. Mayholl, another doctor who filled in for her noticed something different regarding my pregnancy and recommended me to visit a specialist. Thankfully, the other doctor was there that day and I followed her advise. Dr. Mayholl had completely missed this signs even when I had asked about the issues. During everyone of my visits. I quickly moved to another doctor far from Dr. Mayholl where I can trust what they do instead of having to doudle (and triple check many times) everything they do.
