Dr. Elizabeth Mccarrel, MD

Hands down, best 1st time experience with a Dr, she is so easy to talk to, and put me at ease immediately, which allowed me to open up as I have not been able to for awhile! Excellent Dr!

Dr. McCarrell and staff were great to deal with. Fast and very professional even taking extra time with me after my procedure to ensure I was ok. I'm very satisfied with my care.

I don't usually expect a lot from a new doctor, but in this case, I was pleasantly suI don't usually expect a lot from a new doctor, but in this case, I was pleasantly surprised. After delivering my babies with midwives and being seen by them for many years after, I was afraid that I'd lose that kindness and compassion I'd come to appreciate if I saw a physician instead but that was not the case here. Dr. McCarrel took extra time to go over all my medical history, concerns, and worries and treated me with respect and validation. This kind of doctor is rare in the medical field today.

I hope she stays in this hospital so she can deliver my next baby. She is great, no-nonsense and empathetic. She does not waste your time, gives you the information you need and gets you on your way. I was terrified to give birth and knowing she was there in the event something bad happened made everything much easier. If you want a highly educated and responsive doctor use her. If you are looking for more of a cozy, soft touchy-feely experience maybe get someone else.

I have seen Dr McCarrel several times now for an ongoing issue. Each time she has been friendly and has explained what she'll be doing and why. She answers my questions in a way that I can easily understand. She's always been easy too talk to and more than willing to go above and beyond.

While in labor received less than a minute back rub to be charged $300. Wasn’t even my dr nor did I ask for her to come “see” me

Dr. Mccarrel didn't even address her reason I went in. I felt like an idiot for going in for my personal reason and a burden to her day.

Dr. McCarrel. Is a good doctor, but lacks empathy and warmth for her patients. She is very controlling, and very loud, so loud you can hear what she is discussing with her other patients through the walls, which is a patient privacy violation, and she should be aware of this. And you can see the level of discrimination she has for people she thinks are lesser than herself.
