Dr. Elizabeth Mckinney, MD

Dr.McKinney was WONDERFUL. I’m not sure why other women have left her bad reviews. She is very straight to the point and does not sugar coat anything, which I think is important because it’s a serious matter if you’re seeing her in the first place. She debunked all of my fears and made me feel comfortable. She’s very knowledgeable and has been in practice for a long time. My husband and I feel like we are in good hands.

I can’t believe she’s allowed to meet with patients. She’s horribly rude, doesn’t care about your feelings, clearly just wants you to leave and not ask questions. Lies on her after care summary reports. Will never go back to her again!

I am not sure why someone so cold and rude would ever go into fetal medicine. At my ultrasound, she walked into the room smelling of foul onions and then rudely tells me my baby has a hole in his heart and when I tried to ask questions she brushed me off and interrupted me. It was seriously the worst experience with a Dr. I have ever had. I start crying because of the bad news and she stands there over me not even offering a tissue just continued on. She had given a referral for an echo scan and after this we wanted to get a second opinion. My regular Dr. was out of town for a week and I kept calling trying to get a referral and nobody would call me back and finally when I called the last time the lady said that the dr refused to write the second opinion referral and that my regular dr would have to. She wrote the 1st one, why not the second one??? This is a time sensitive matter and she is a horrible person for doing this to our family.

My wife is pregnant with twins and we have been going to maternal fetal medicine in Tacoma for all 23 weeks so far. This clinic is very impersonal. We had our appointment's scheduled every two weeks and we would see a different doctor each time. I think multicare as a whole is great, but Maternal Fetal medicine needs alot of work. After reading the only review on here I was very skeptical to choose this clinic and I wish I hadn't. Dr. Mckinney is very short and gives you no options. In addition any doctor you see doesn't know your history, but for a few notes they probably read minutes befor they speak to you. Pleas save yourself and your baby by choosing a better clinic before its too late.

My experience with Dr.Mckinney was horrible, she was very rude and prejudice. After she diagnosed me she gave me a brief description then told us to 'look it up'. When she gave us very sad news about my fetus she came on harshly and did not even think about letting it down easy. But of course we had to wait 45 minutes passed our scheduled appointment in the waiting room then another 2 hours after the ultrasound for the results. She came off as very rude and annoyed and I definitely recommend choosing a different doctor. Besides the doctor the office staff were very kind and professional and the office was clean and comfortable, and the Ultrasound Technicians were fantastic and very good.
