Dr Mcmasters was listening not judging and asking questions that I would never would to ask my self. She was very caring and awesome. She was very informative, aside from great bedside manner, she was professional. I went open minded.

Dr McMasters runs an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) out of Woodstock Hospital in IL (now a Northwestern hospital on Doty Rd). She is thorough in her questions about past as well as present mental health wellbeing, diagnoses, etc. She believes that psychiatry is only a piece of the puzzle in combating mental health. Her integrated views regarding the role of psychologists, social workers, and other professionals in helping people with their overall mental health show me that she is not a “pill pusher.” I have been very pleased as well with her empathy and overall bedside manner.
