Dr. Elizabeth Jane Mcshane, MD

I was waiting for my Mother and overheard Virginia discussing a patient with a woman sitting in the waiting room. She was very critical of this patient and was disclosing very personal information. And laughing. Very unprofessional and disturbing. To her credit, Nancy remained silent, but looked uncomfortable. I am in the process of finding my Mother another Surgeon.

I have been going to Dr. McShane since 2006 and she has been the best!

I had my right knee replaced 1 year ago by another doctor and had some problems, one being a dropped foot. I changed to Dr Mcshane for my left knee and she replaced it 2 weeks ago. It is going so much better this time I am already up and walking with no help. It still has a ways to go but I am very happy so far with the results. The hospital she works out of PHI in Whittier is also a great place to go if you have to use a hospital. This time I did 7 days in their rehab downstairs at the same hospital, made a big difference. When I had my right knee done I went home 4 days after surgery and rehab came to my house, stay in rehab at hospital if you can, much better.

She saved my quality of life. I would be in a wheel chair or scooter if it wasn't for her.
