Dr. Elizabeth A L Muennich

I went to see Dr. Muenich for the first time earlier this year. The first visit went well. She prescribed something for Rosacea which worked very well. While in her office, she noticed a mole on my chin which seemed to concern her. She looked at it with a magnifying glass and then dismissed it. I decided a few months later, I was due for a full body scan and at that time I expressed nervousness about that spot on my chin she had looked at previously. It hadn’t changed at all since I had seen her last. But, I started to research on my own and felt it had many characteristics of a melanoma – irregularly shaped, dark color, and as I had mentioned to her in my first visit, I had worked in a tanning salon in my teens. She again dismissed it but said she would do the biopsy because of my concern. A week later, I received the call from her letting me know it was a melanoma in situ. Needless to say, I was not happy at all happy with her inability to detect a melanoma. She was also… not very thorough when doing the body scan - very rushed. Please consider finding another doctor when searching for someone to handle skin cancer issues. It would have been a real shame had the melanoma been left on my chin (I went to a Mohs specialist for removal b/c I did not trust her abilities and am now cancer free).

Dr. Muennich takes time and goes over your questions. She keeps it light, and yet, you leave feeling that she has carefully examined you and taken care of any problems, great personality too!

Myself, my best friend, my neighbor and her mother, brother and son have all left Dr Muennich's practice. She is missing skin cancers that only get worse and her staff is rude and obniouxsly loud.

Dr Muennich's clinical staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Diagnosis and treatment were handled well. The Receptionist and some of the clerical staff are not friendly and welcoming and it is not because they are too busy.

Dr. Muennich is very professional and always takes time with us. My daughter is 12 and loves Dr. Muennich's personalized skin care routine she created for her. My whole family has seen Dr. Muennich and we highly recommend her and her staff.

Dr Munniech needs to find out what her staff is doing. They are so rude and when you ask them anything; they put blame on the customer. The appointment lady behind desk is so loud that if your diagnose is personal and potentially life threatening; she makes sure everyone in office hears it. I witnessed a poor young girl leave the office crying after this person blurted out her diagnosis to a man standing behind the teen. Terrible. I was numbed for a skin surgery but the MA didn't put in enough numbing solution so I felt the cut and stitches.

Dr. Muennich is a great dermatologist. She listened to my concerns. I had all of my medical and cosmetic needs met. I will be back.
