Dr. Elizabeth A Ottney, DO

I have read a couple other reviews. Unlike the whiners, I didn't go to the doctor to be coddled and charmed. I had failed to take blood pressure meds on schedule and things got out of control. Although I wasn't in peril, Dr. Ottney scolded me firmly for failing to take my meds as directed, and given the out-of-control situation I had going I felt I needed to be taken to task and this fine lady made a believer of me. I was impressed with her knowledge of how hypertension medications work and her total familiarity with the peculiarities of each of the three meds I take. She was both firm, and yet friendly. She's working now at Banner Baywood heart hospital in east Mesa, Arizona.

This is the worst excuse for a doctor I have ever experienced. Rude. Condescending. Angry. Absolutely no empathy or bedside manner. Run from this creature.

My baby had developed a nose bleed which didn't stop immediately. We took her into the ER and Dr. Ottney had examined her and determined air evac was necessary within minutes of us walking through the door. The physician at the children's hospital confirmed what Dr. Ottney suspected un-diagnosed hemophilia. We are now managing this but Dr. Ottney was the catalyst that allowed us to keep our daughter safe.

I would never go back. She made no eye contact, was very cool, the type who wants to cut a prescription and run. I ended up taking my baby to urgent care later that day.
