Dr. Elizabeth A. Poynor is a gynecologic oncologist and advanced pelvic surgeon, with a deep understanding of women's health. Her expertise is in the management of complex women’s health issues. She focuses on the management of midlife women’s health concerns and aging strategies, hormonal and endocrinological health concerns, diagnostic and prevention of illness strategies for women, complex pelvic surgery including surgical oncology, and deep excision of endometriosis. Through her extensive surgical and medical background, she is able to care for women in a holistic fashion and uniquely employs both medical and surgical approaches for women’s health. After completing advanced surgical training in gynecology, gynecologic oncology and advanced pelvic surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and maintaining a successful surgical practice there for more than a decade, she decided to focus exclusively on the care of women in a more comfortable, private, comprehensive and …integrative setting. After establishing her private practice, she was noted in 2007 and 2008 to be a Castle Connolly Guide Top Doctor for the New York Metro Area for gynecologic oncology. Doctor Poynor is very knowledgeable and caring doctor. She solves all of my problems and addresses all of my concerns while making me very comfortable. She is extremely reachable and responsive at all times which means so much to me. I highly recommend her to all patients.

I went to see Dr.Poynor a few years ago and ever since i feel I have known her forever, this is how she connects with her patients! It’s the busiest doctors office run so smoothly that she won’t make you feel that it’s busy, it’s all about her patients in there.. I am all praise of this super genius doctor who’s great in her profession and also so calm and caring , her staff is very kind too, Barbara and Catherine! Thank you ?? radhika

She’s a saint, such docs are a dying breed. Dedicated life to her patients. She did my surgery 2 times in 6 years and I am alive because of her. Unfortunately I don’t live on east coast anymore and I miss her. Have been difficult to find a good doctor on west coast.

Dr poyner and her office are a blessing. I was recommended by a family member. She’s so caring and elite at the same time. Her office reflects her taste and quality too. I am in awe of this woman. ??
