Dr. Elizabeth Jean Pusey, MD

I wish I had read some of the reviews here before I scheduled my appointment. I was referred by my OB Gyn for a routine mammogram. I was about to undergo IVF treatment and wanted to make sure I was completely healthy before proceeding. Aside, from the office being out of my way and also having to pay for parking I was willing to go to the trouble because my insurance said Dr. Pusey was a covered provider and she performed 3D mammograms! All my past exams were performed in 2D but my OB Gyn had always encouraged I get 3D if possible as it provided much better imaging. Well after paying more $350 out of pocket fees after insurance already paid more than $500 to the office I wonder why I went to the trouble of going to this place. I was told by the medical office they could not read the 3D mammogram and an ultrasound had to be performed. Wow, really? No issue with 2D in the past and now with 3D nothing can be seen? Well, after speaking with the Dr. Pusey and discussing my… current dilemma of extras costs with IVF therapy I wanted to make sure this was covered by my insurance. She was very understanding and explained the need for an ultrasound, given the money I was investing in IVF, I had to make sure I was healthy all around before starting. Of course she didn't guarantee insurance would cover and of course the biller had gone home so this couldn't be checked in advance. However, she said she would make sure to include in her notes that medically necessary would be indicated so it would help with coverage. WRONG! $1000 was billed to my insurance and they only covered a portion. I am responsible for the rest, that was on me for not understanding the codes that were used and sent to my insurance company and for trusting in this medical office. However, the most disturbing part of this whole debacle was the way the Billing manager blamed me and continued to insist on charging me interest despite my insurance company contacting her to forego any additional charges until they had 90 days to process my claim. It's just all about the $$$ here...

Great Staff! Great Office! I got the feeling that they actually cared, which I find can be rare these days. The office is always busy but I have never had a problem getting in and out on schedule. In the past, I have had problems navigating the corporate health care system. It left me feeling like I was being pushed around like cattle. You won't find that here. If you're looking for personalized care, I highly recommend Dr. Pusey and her staff of honest, authentic, genuine people.

This is a very thorough and serious doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Pusey.

Dr. Pusey is phenomenal. She has saved the life of several of my friends by finding and detecting cancerous cells that were incredibly tiny that no one else was able to find. Their OBGYN is the same as mine and he told them she saved their lives as the cancer was of a very aggressive type.

I found a lump in my breast. My friend recommended I see Dr. Pusey. I called her office and got in right away. Dr. Pusey quickly diagnosed and explained my condition. I was so happy with the visit. Just like my friend, I will recommend Dr. Pusey to my family and friends.

Was referred to her from another dr just to check my left Brest for mammogram as a precaution. Without letting me know her nurse performed bunch of extra diagnostics for 2000$!!!! My bill was horrendous! I called to office and nurse told me that everything been decsussed.! Crazy lie! I saw Pusey only in the end when bunch of test already been performed. She never even called to explain or express her concern about this issue. Save your money! Go to another place to see more honest dr ( I actually just did mammogram for my mom for 120$ cash! )

I have gone here for years and feel very comfortable with the care. She is a great Dr. and is very thorough. Everyone in the office is very caring and concerned. If you have a history of breast cancer this is the place you should go!

She's an incredibly thorough radiologist. I've got complex issues with my breasts do to implants and other fibrous tissues. She has always done an excellent and thorough job with me. She has also found incredibly small cancers in other friends of mine and literally saved their lives. She is a remarkable doctor!

This doctor is a miracle worker for my friends and I. She found an amazingly small cancer according to the hospital for my friend and saved her breast. Her staff is polite and helpful and they care. This is never a pleasant exam but they make it as easy as possible.

Have been there for many years. Now, Dr. Pusey doesn't see you anymore and just let's her technicians do the work.Then she calls you back for another 'personal'appointment to see you once she looks at the films.(My time, her money). And the office even tells me on the phone "did you not have a biopsy in the past two years?" leaving me really relaxed...While she received films from another office at no charge, she even charged me for her films when I wanted to get a second opinion. Very upsetting.
