Dr Elizabeth Ramos

Dr. Ramos was very professional,kind,caring. I had a physical exam and never received such outstanding Medical care. Dr. Ramos was rude, impatient and rushed. Although I had laryngitis l, she actually yelled at me because I was unable to speak to her, even though I could communicate with her via text. She automatically assumed I had covid even when I showed her a negative test result that was less than 20 hours old. She did mo examination and immediately sent me to Urgent Care who confirmed I had Mono, not Covid. Dr. Ramos had no “bedside manner” and her expertise borders on malpractice. Do not use this doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Elizabeth Ramos since the 1999. I consider her a very knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, professional, and caring. She is one of few medical provider that keeps track of time, considers her patients' time to be as valuable as her own, and works hard to see her patient at the scheduled time. I highly recommend Dr. Ramos.

Elizabeth Ramos is a HORRIBLE doctor; she is nasty, impatient, condescending, and ALWAYS rude. She has ZERO bedside manners, is hurtful, arrogant, obnoxious, and too self-assured. I have never given a bad review for anything or anyone, but today I would like to spread the word to EVERYONE that this woman needs to be stopped from practicing medicine if ONLY for her horrific treatment of patients. I can't believe i allowed myself to go back to her over the last few years (due to laziness in finding another doctor after my old doctor moved out of state). I will never, ever go back. SHE IS AWFUL!! And her front office person is just as bad. It's as though they feed off each other's negativity and unpleasantness.

I have to give it to her. She is always untime. However, I would rather if she was late, than to be so uncouth, condescending, and insulting. She spends more time on the computer updating how many vitamins you are taking than she does with the patient. She overdiagnose and sends to too many specialists unnecessarily. I saw her approximately three times and that was three times too many. I don't know if her staff trained her to be rude, or she trained them; but they are certainly "birds of a feather". When I went to work and expressed my disgust with internist, four of my coworkers overheard the conversation, and knew exactly who I was talking about, before I even mentioned her name. She likes to argue with the patients( I can only speak for myself). But I have sat in her office and overheard her secretary flat out arguing with a patient that was standing right in front of her. That's the secretary that buzz you in the door and does not acknowledge you when you enter. You only… know that you are there when the Dr Ramos calls you into her chamber. The lady that does the blood work(not sure if she is still there) does not introduce herself. She just tells you to "go on the scale, sit on the bed", takes your blood pressure, obtain your labs, and hands you a cup for urine collection. No verbal communication at all. I positive Dr Ramos is convinced as I am that she has entered the wrong field of practice. What a waste of college.

Difficult to speak to the doctor over the phone. The staff is extremely curt and without empathy. Waited until I was at a doctors office to ok the visit, although I called weeks ahead. The doctors assistant finally called when I was at the hospital for the consultation.

Just a really poor bedside manner. very rushed and not comprehensive at all.

Dr. Ramos shouldn't be in the field of medicine, shouldn't deal with patients, shloudn' interact with human beings. She is everything other people have mentioned: arrogant, rude, dismissive, insulting, etc.etc. Her nurse and her receptionist are equally contemptuous and unpleasant. I felt disrespected, humiliated, abused. Worst experience I have ever had in a doctor's office. I marked one star but Dr. R. and her practice deserve none.

Her AND her staff are extremely rude and nasty! Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. I saw her twice and that was twice too many. They are HORRIBLE!!!! All the "good" reviews must be written from someone in her office because there is no way on this earth anyone in their right mind can think that the way you are treated by the doctor and her staff in this office is acceptable.

I recently visited Dr. Ramos and was shocked when she was rude and downright insulting in her interactions with me. I've seen her in the past and she's always been a bit brusque, but I understand how busy doctors are, especially in NYC, so never thought much about it. This visit, however, was different. She was insulting and dismissive and I will not be going back.
