She is excellent at her art! All the other Dr's said no way around a colostomy bag, but she was able to do surgery and reconnect everything without a colostomy bag! She and her staff listen to your symptoms, concerns and fears. They explained everything prior to the surgery as to what to expect and have been there through the whole process before, during and postoperative. We felt 100 percent confident in her ability! She has a wonderful bed side manor, we honestly can't say enough good things about her. We were blessed that she was the surgeon that operated on my husband!

Nothing more scary like going into emergency and needing a surgery and not with my care team. I was fortunate Dr. Raskin was on call that weekend and the minute she said ‘hello’ I felt at ease. Wonderful, warm, thorough, detailed. I am thankful and recovering well. Thank you Dr. Raskin

Referred to this Dr. by my physician after his initial diagnosis (in network). This Dr.'s front office refused to schedule an approved appt. unless I have already been diagnosed with "colon inflammatory or irritability bowel disease!" WHAT? Aren't you supposed to see a patient to diagnose their problem? That is why my doctor gave me a referral! How am I supposed to know if I have "colon inflammatory or irritability bowel disease?" Poor attitude to new patient.

Dr. Raskin did an excellent job! Surgery resulted in very little pain. I had problems with reoccurring fistula. She fixed it over 2 years ago. No issue now. Very pleased!. Excellent bed-side manner. Really felt cared for before, during and after surgery.
