Dr. Elizabeth Anne Reeve, MD

We have been taking our non verbal 24 year old child to doc reeves for around 20 years now and are very happy with the results. I don’t like throwing meds at my child for every problem she has and doctor Reeve respects my view and doesn’t push them. If she feels that a med is worth trying she will explain in great detail the pros and cons making it clear to understand. I believe we are fortunate to have the good doctor working with our child making our job possible. Our daughter is doing well and it’s been a long road.

Dr. Reeve is amazing completely understands what it is like to parent a child with ASD.

We lived here for 3 years before our son started talking to himself...and we rushed all over to figure out what was going on. After going to all the Twin City Hospitals and then also to Mayo we came back to Dr. Reeve. She is the "It" doctor in Minnesota and within 30 minutes of seeing us she was able to tell us that the meds we were on were not being administered correctly and he was missing a few tests and set all my questions and doubts to ease. I know we are in good hands.

This Dr is rude, condescending, does not listen, makes snap judgments with a 5 minute observation/discussion with her clients. You could not pay me enough to go back to see this woman. How she made it into the paper as one of the best clinician's in the St. Paul, MN area is beyond me.If you're looking for help for your Asperger's child, do yourself a favor and keep looking.

Knows her stuff but has a good manor with the patient. She is up front with her thoughts and ideas and has done excellent with our childrenWe have two autistic children that she is treating, both of them enjoy visiting with her. She is able to get both of them work with her, no other doctor has has the results she has been able to obtain.

My daughter has a complicated medical history. We had seen Drs before for ADHD to no avial. Dr Reeve accurately diagnosed her with PDD.NOS as well as ADHD. She has also worked with us for over a year to find the right combination of meds, etc to offer our daugther relief. She is very pleasant and easy to get in touch with. She has a no nonsense manner and treats her patients with respect, setting realisitc expectations for behavior in her presence. We are honored to be included in her patient load.

Dr. Reeve is one of the few Psychiatrists who is knowledgeable in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). She is good, and knows her stuff. She is not the sweet fu-fu type of Dr.. She is however very nice, and has a no-nonsense approach that is refreshing.

A traumatizing experience. As a depressed teenager seeking help for ADHD and anxiety, she spent more than one session bullying me and saying that there was nothing she could do for me until I "figured out exactly what I wanted to get out of therapy" and implied that I was wasting her time. My sessions with her ended with my mother getting into a shouting fight with her after she reduced me to tears.
