Dr. Elizabeth Ann Ross, MD

I saw Dr Ross for prescriptions only she was always kind and listened.

At first we thought she could possible help my child. First meeting, she prescribed a medicine and told us to take half first week then whole pill 2nd week. Went back for follow up informing her of side effects. Ignored those and increased the dose. We decided not to increase because we were going on vacation. The depression was the worst its ever been. Went back for another follow up (3rd visit) for only 15 min. and finally agreed to get off the med. Very hard to get appts because only available on Saturdays. Did not feel she took the time to understand symptoms and overlooked side effects. I cannot recommend her.

Stay away

We saw Dr. Ross for our son. She could not describe the reason for prescribing a med, the symptoms she was looking at and side effects. She is one of the coldest people I have ever met. She would not follow up with our son and when we finally reached her, she was clueless. Did not help our son in a crisis with meds. Absolutely find someone else.

Impossible to reach directly (you have to go through a third party who manages her schedule) and refuses to refill prescriptions over the phone for any reason. I have to wait weeks for an appointment that lasts less than five minutes just so I can continue taking a medication I've been on for over two years. During appointments she talks like she's filling out a form, asking only questions like "what symptoms of depression would you say you exhibit?". Absolutely would not recommend.

And by far the worst support staff. Constantly trying to bill me for appointments I never had, never returning my phone calls, not following up with CVS after my insurance denied a medication she prescribed (other doctors in the past would call and explain why that medication is needed), only works one day a week and is never accessible. Don't waste your time!

This doctor is all about doing as little as possible. She only works 1 day a week, spends an average of maybe 5 minutes, and is not available for any unexpected problems, like issues with refills or other stuff. I would have been better off asking advice from my cats.
