Dr. Elizabeth C Sanders, DO

Dr. Sanders has been our family doctor for a while but in the last 5-6 years it's been one mistake after another one. She missed quite a number of important medical issues that were going on, did not follow up on some tests and never contacted me to let me know of ongoing medical issues. I am upset I was so loyal and did not try to find another family doctor a few years ago. I will have to deal with years of treatment to fix what she failed to address immediately after she received the tests results.

I think Dr. Sanders is great. Very detailed, listens to my comments and seems genuinely concerned with what I have to tell her. Nice to have a Dr. that I feel I can talk with and takes the time to listen. I would and do, recommend her to everyone.

My whole family see Dr Sanders, including adult ones and grandchildren. She is prompt, talented in diagnostics and treatment. Compassionate and professional. Great doc

I only visit them once for annual check. The nurse assistant see me. I ask her if she can write a Dr. note about my routine headache which I can give it to my boss that She can allow me have a hat in my office. The nurse tells me that I am fine with out any check with me. She tells me I have no medical issue with my head, a lot people have routine headache problem. So she cannot write medical note for me. NOW, this place bill me medical diagnosis because I tell them I have headache problem in annual check. All they do is " tells me I have no medical issue with my head, a lot people have routine headache problem. " This is their diagnosis.

Assistant has an attitude. Follow-up is almost non-existent. I don't know about diagnosis, but I have little faith in it as I'm not sure anyone actually "sees" me while I am there. Dr. Sander's doesn't seem to realize I'm the patient; she is the provider. She's very "nice" but doesn't seem to be paying attention. I am looking for a new provider.

I am new to Gainesville and was looking for a female physician to talk to about a variety of concerns. I found her name in the listing for my insurance, but sadly I did not do any other research on customer satisfaction (and I should have). The entire appointment I felt rushed and like I could not tell her why I was there. The staff was not friendly or welcoming. After much frustration I gained nothing from my visit to her. The only positive to my visit was the nurse I was assigned she was helpful and friendly, but ultimately that did not help me with my concerns.

Rude, disrespectful, missed the point of my visit; like she had her own agenda.

Dr. Sanders has been our family physician for almost 20 years - mine, my husband, and our three (now grown) daughters. She has been with us through emergencies, routine and every other stage. She is excellent diagnostician and worked well with all of us - even the daughters in teenage-rebellion stages. Wish every doctor in America was like her.

After twenty years of going to this practice, I had to leave. The nurse was rude, harsh, read my chart wrong, and called me a liar. No apology was ever forthcoming from the office.
