Dr. Elizabeth Anne Scheff, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr Scheff for a couple years. I’ll start by saying that the receptionist/front desk has always been amazing, kind, and efficient. But the appointments themselves are a different story. Every appointment I hope that my experience with Dr. Scheff will improve but unfortunately this has not been the case. She is always very rushed, aloof, and frequently interrupts you while you’re trying to describe your concerns or ask questions. It’s impossible to get a full sentence or question out without being cutoff. Most recently when asking about a birth control pill she wanted to switch me to and whether it would reduce my insanely painful cramps, long plaguing me for years, she cut me off before I could finish my question and said “of course it will prevent pregnancy”. Even though that was not the point of my question. Needs to listen to the patient a little better and not start rolling her desk out the door before the appointment is over. On top of the already vulnerable nature… of gyn appointments, I rarely get a sense of comfort from these interactions.

Good doctor, just always seems rushed and all over the place. If she slowed down a bit would be great.

Rude staff, barely want to answer the phone and give a hard time to patients trying to obtain their medical records all in addition to Dr. Scheff dodging communication with patients. The office has an emergency answering machine on during working hours in which patients (now former patient), like myself, have no way of communicating with office staff to obtain urgent documentation. The most unprofessional and careless money hungry practice I have ever come across. I do not recommend this office.

The worst doctor's office for communications. They never answer the phone, never return messages via email. I had to drive to their office today to talk to them. Alliance RX Walgreens Prime Specialty Pharmacy has been trying to reach them on my behalf for a month but to no avail. The attitude of the front desk is startling. Mixed information among them. Billed twice for the same procedure also. Dr. Scheff is knowledgeable enough but very aloof and difficult to talk to. rather than ask her questions I go to the internet for answers. I am used to a warm, friendly, caring doctor's office and this is more like going to a public clinic where you are just a number.

Dr. Scheff called me and left me a voicemail to call her immediately because my test results came back and they were very concerning. I called back right away and she was not reachable at the time. I had to wait all day for her to call me back and tell me OVER THE PHONE that she believed I had cervical cancer and was referring me to an oncologist without even repeating the test or performing any of the routine follow up exams. Not to mention she asked me really rude questions regarding my personal life that came across condescending and judgmental all after telling me my test results. I do consider this a blessing in disguise because she did refer me to an absolutely amazing doctor who walked me through everything and told me based on the results she forwarded him that I did NOT have cancer but did have to be treated for the issue the initial test indicated. She scared the heck out of me with no actual basis for diagnosing me with what she believed was cervical cancer! In the future,… it would be better tell someone to come in to discuss results and maybe even repeat the test before telling someone they have cancer!!!!

My 18 year old daughter had a wellness visit. She had previously seen another obgyn who she fiund cild & clinical. De. Scheff made it very comfortable as she was open & friendly resulting in a positive experience

She is amazing! Cant wait to have her deliver baby!

To start off I was a previous Dr Kabakibi's patient and became Dr Scheff's patient once Dr K retired. Dr Scheff is a doll caring physician, on my visit I had some concerns on the reason of my visit she did take her time to get to every question I had on my list she is very informative, I got my results after a few days after my visit and Dr Scheff got in contact with me to inform me of my results. Wonderful staff; very helpful. I sure do recommend this doctor.

Terrible doctor I do not recommend anyone to go there, I feel she s doing just paper work, plus she s not deliver her patients, I'm one of dr Kabakibi patients he was awesome dr but unfortunatly retired so I ve to follow up wz her and I was surprised with another terrible horrible disaster dr . In the hospital during my delivery, I do not recommend any women to deliver at Hoboken hospital the worst hospital on the earth

She is not gentle, very rude and doesn't show that she cares about the patient... Will never go back to herð???
