Dr. Elizabeth Z Scott, MD

Dr. Scott has been my OBGYN for a few years now. She’s been with me through 2 pregnancies so far and has kept me comfortable and informed throughout this journey to new motherhood. She’s straight to the point and doesn’t sugarcoat the facts. It feels refreshing and necessary, especially when I’m looking for information throughout my pregnancy. I’ve yet to ask a question she can’t answer or help me with. I started receiving p-17 shots at the office I currently see her at and the nurses who administer them to me are so sweet and helpful. The receptionist, Olivia, is also very welcoming whenever I walk in.

She's a great doctor! I was seen by another doctor in the practice throughout my pregnancy and Dr. Scott ended being the one on call when it came time for delivery. Everything went nice and smoothly and I decided to switch to her for my next pregnancy. She listens, gives good advice, and will stand up for you! Wait time in the office can be terrible from time to time, bring a book or try calling ahead to see if they're running really far behind.

Pros - Dr. Scott was very nice and able to give me advice as to over-the-counter medications and reasons for my conditions. Wonderful bedside manner and good conversationalist.Cons - I waited 1 hour as 45 minutes in the waiting room and then another 40 minutes in the clinical room. When I asked the front desk what the issue was with the wait time all she said is "there's one person ahead of you". I told her, "Yes I know, and there she is sitting next to me. She's been waiting 15 minutes longer than me." I did feel bad because the front desk lady seemed really bombarded with phone calls and assisting everyone else. Still, I think that appointments are made for a reason - TO BE ABLE TO KEEP A SCHEDULE - and that if patients need to wait longer than they should then the office needs to communicate that. I would have walked out except I had waited over a month to get the appointment because she is only available at that location a few times a week. I would have taken another doctor but… the referral to get Dr. Scott took 2 months in and of itself, so my HMO would not have covered another doctor.

Excellent doctor. Will definitely recommend her to my friends.
