Do not even try with this doctor. She will never return your calls. Sad that someone who works in mental health can't even be bothered to make an appointment to help you.

She is horrible. She used to badger me for "missing" appointments as if I was a kindergarten kid even when it was impossible for me to get there. She can hardly stay awake during appointments- yawns all the time. Very insincere and ineffective. Fakes empathy.

She just started her own practice and will treat you like a pawn to advance her own practice. She charges $540 per session (most psychiatrists charges around $200- 300). After the second or third session she says she will help you with your meds if you go see one of the therapists she recommends. This is so she can build a goodwill with other doctors so they will recommend their patients to her. Making referrals is acceptable between physicians except I don't know of any doctors who refer me to someone they have never met just to get 'trade off' referrals. It's careless and unethical.
