Elizabeth Turner

I've been in Therapy on and off for about 40 years. Elizabeth Turner is one of the best Therapists I've ever worked with. I feel safe sharing and being honest about every aspect of my life. She provided compassion and empathy. She gave me insight and expert tools to use. With her guidance, I have come out of a deep depression and decreased my general anxiety level. I am learning to approach myself with love and grace and to see my worth. Liz recognized my undiagnosed ADHD and helped me learn to see its positive parts and work through it's challenges. We used EMDR to address numerous Traumatic events in my life that kept me trapped in so many ways. With it, I've looked at things with new eyes, allowed myself to feel the pain, and reprocessed these traumatic memories. It's more than simple talk therapy, EMDR allows your own brain to guide you through these debilitating memories and put them away so they are no longer ruling your mind and body. I had to be dedicated, honest and… willing to do the hard work. Through it all, Elizabeth walked beside me. She has my deepest gratitude. Thank you, Liz.
