Dr. Elizabeth Anne Valentine, MD

Dr. Valentine may come across as not to personable. But to those who think so, including me. I say dont judge a book by its cover, until you get to know them. She is a very through, compassionate doctor. She goes beyond just being your Hematologist/Oncologist. She want to be familiar with every part of your medical issues. She takes her time to go over any and all test you have done, including ones she didnt order. She is a jewel of a doctor! I would 100% recommend her to anyone. My suggestion to any new patient dint get caught up in the time you wait to see her, because she us worth the wait, and your health should be too. On my first visit dr. valentine spent over one hour with me and was very understanding and reassuring. I find her to be very thorough and is not just concerned about my cancer but my overall physical and mental health.

Dr. Valentine is a special person. She is caring, extremely knowledgeable, patient and giving. My first appointment with her was a late afternoon that lasted until 7pm. Some would think this would be bothersome, but it shows how caring and detailed she is. I was a 9 and 3/4 years breast cancer survivor and was being diagnosed yet again with breast cancer. I miss her terribly and will be contacting her at her new office. Hopefully to become her patient for follow ups again.

Dr. Valentine is excellent. She is caring, thorough, and knowledgable.

So sorry that she is no longer with NYOH. Was a patient for 4 yrs, always kept well informed of my treatment and labs reports and she never failed to pass on information to my other Drs. She always spent time to answer questions.

Dr. Valentine is a very caring physician. When first diagnosed with breast cancer, my first appointment with her lasted two hours because she took the time to answer all my questions. She never rushes the appointment.

I was a patient of De. valentine's for some 20 years or more. She has been extremely thorough and helpful. She also treated my wife's breast cancer. We will miss her and I surely would like to know why she no longer sees patients.

Im not sure what happened? She left the practice in a hurry I was supposed to asee her in January. So sad she was awesome take care and thx for everything!

Dr. Valentine has been my mothers' dedicated and trusted oncologist for twenty one years. She has accurately diagnosed her breast cancer and lung cancers, and has consistently made excellent choices in her care throughout her treatments. It is true that sometimes you may have to wait a bit for your scheduled appointment. This is dependent upon the unforeseen events and emergencies the may arise on the day of your appointment, which sometimes resulted in a longer wait time. However, my mother's time with the doctor was never slighted. All questions were welcomed by Dr. Valentine and answered in a comprehensive manner. I will always be grateful to her for her professionalism, her gentle approach with me and my mother and for her genuine care and concern. I would recommend Dr. Valentine to anyone.

I see people giving dr valentine a bad review if you gave her a chance you would see shes very compassoinate shes very professional at the beginning trying to figure out your treatment once she gets that rolling she relaxes alot! If youve only went to her 1 or 2 times you shouldnt write anything! Its not as if you stubbed your toe!! Shes trying to figure out how to save your life!! She saved my life 3 times she runs all kinds of test all the time she dont miss a beat if something comes up she calls to let you know what to do no matter what time it is even at nite so give her a chance and you willnsee she does care about patient!!!!
