We used generic accutane for acne. Dr Vierra gave us a high dogase and never offered a lower dosage option. I didn't know that was a possibility. There are many side effects that can be permanent. If you chose to take it make sure you find a doctor who gives you the options of low dosage and try that first.

Dr. Vierra has been my dermatologist for 9 years. One Dr at a different practice discounted the spot on my back. My sister recommended Dr V. That spot was melanoma. Within 2 weeks she had me lined up and getting surgery. She is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I would never consider changing Dermatologists!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Elizabeth Vierra for over 15 years. She is friendly, caring and thorough. She is very professional, explains her exam and what needs to be done. She has excellent time management and I know she and her staff will not keep me waiting long in the reception area or exam room as she is prompt and respectful of her patients’ time.

Going for years and I really appreciate her competence and willingness to explain everything, calmly. That she personally or her staff follows up when she says she will is a testament that she kindly understands her patients .
