Dr. Elizabeth Volk, MD

I saw Dr. Volk once and the care she showed me was unbelievable, she was patient and asked a lot of questions about me and my problem. I just made a follow-up appointment. I love Dr. Volk.

5 minutes after meeting me for the first time, she was trashing everything about me. She was trashing previous diagnoses. I guess if she doesn't diagnosis, it is a wrong diagnosis. She wants me to stop all medications and previous doctor's. She will decide what is best for me. Pretty awesome for 15 minutes.

Dr. Volk is a great doctor. She's patient, attentive, and thorough. Unfortunately, I've had poor response from her office staff in terms of follow-up after visits, tests, etc. This issue must be addressed or I'll have to look for a different doctor.

Dr. Volk seems so knowledgeable but her office is impossibly unprofessional. Typically, phones aren't answered nor calls returned. Today I went there to try to get a new prescription since the pharmacy hasn't been able to reach her for a refill. The door is locked, lights off, no sign or notice!

I recently made an appointment for my daughter with Dr. Volk. The appointment was for 9:00 AM, and when we arrived, the doctor was not there. We waited 45 minutes with no sign of the doctor. Her receptionist tried to reach her and said, "She's usually here by now." We finally left. I asked that the doctor call me. She never did. Nobody from the office has called to explain or to reschedule.

Sarah, Dr. Volk's admin was very helpful and very nice. As a new patient I was delighted that I did not have to fill out a patient history. As it turns out, Dr. Volk takes the extra time asking me all those tedious questions regarding medical and family history. I was very impressed that she spent extra time with me going over everything with me and getting to know me. My previous GP spent as little time as possible with me and acted as if I was being disrespectul if I asked a question so Dr. Volk was truly a breath of fresh air as she appeared truly concerned for my well being. I think I'm going to really like my new doctor.

Dr. Volk has been my doctor for many years and has always been accessible, knowledgable and personable. She has provided good guidance for directing my health care over the years and has been "spot on". She is willing to spend the time with you to help you understand your options for treatment. I have and will continue recommending her as a personal physician.

I went to Dr. Volk because of the reviews I read and I am very pleased I went to see her. She is wonderful and Tiffany is excellent also.

On my 3rd visit with Dr. Volk, she insulted me, told me that my friends were not my real friends and that I would never get married. She refused to refill both my medications (for anxiety and panic attacks) and referred me to a different doctor. Dr. Volk has some serious issues with casual drinking. When I told her I drink once a week with friends and have no need or desire to stop is when she went crazy. I am a 26 year old, college-educated woman who needed help with anxiety, not a 45-minute long lecture from a judgemental lunatic!! I have never felt more attacked by a healthcare professional in all my life. I would never refer anyone to this woman.

I've been seeing Dr. Volk on a regular basis for the past 3 years. She is excellent at getting you in for an appointment, spending time with you, and helping you understand what is going on. I will continue to see her for quite a long time!
