Dr. Elizabeth Jean Wanner, MD

Dr. Wanner always spends a lot of time with me. She listens to my concerns and addresses them, either at the time of the appointment, or follows up by calling me, AT HOME!!! to discuss them! (what doctor does that these days?). I always feel as if she has my best interest at heart. She is professional and very competent. I recommend her to all my friends. The drive from Spring to Tomball is more than worth it.

I have been a patient of Dr Wanners for almost 10 years. She epitomizes what it means to be a true family care physician. She listens. She's up to date on all facets of medicine. She has a strong network of colleagues to send you to for a referral. Over the years she has helped me with many illnesses including: asthma, degenerative discs, severe arthritis, anxiety and mild depression, and she found on a routine check 3 malignant melanomas. She saved my life. She also took me through the death of my father and father in law, and is helping me deal with my sisters serious diagnosis of cancer. She listens and cares not only for your health but your entire wellbeing. I am moving out of state. It will be impossible to replace her because she is an example of excellence that is second to none.

Dr. Wanner has been my PCP for over ten years. Until the past year I have been very pleased (except for long wait times). In the past year I have been misdiagnosed multiple times, referred to the wrong specialty, put on the wrong dosage or wrong medication altogether, and just plain given poor medical care. Dr. Wanner cares about her patients but her ability as a physician is declining. Her staff does not call you with test results even when they require immediate action. I don't know what happened, but reluctantly today I switched doctors.

This was my first visit to Dr. Warner. My wait time was minimal, the staff was very cordial and Dr. Warner was very warm and caring. She took plenty of time to address my needs and I felt very comfortable with her.The only thing I could recommend is that she do a little redecorating of her office...it smelled a little funny and was very outdated. Fresh paint and a few updated pictures would do wonders for the first impression!
