Dr. Elizabeth Post White-Fricker, DO

Dr White/Fricker has been my primary care physician for over 8 years. She is patient, attentive and caring. I always feel I have enough time to explain my problems. If needed, she will direct me to the specialists of my need.

No appointment available for a sudden injury. Sent me to an affiliated walk-in clinic. But the clinic didn't take my insurance. Had to beg for an appointment. Computers were down, so she didn't have my history. First asked about wrong leg, then got snappy and condescending when I tried to fill in what I thought was key medical history. Which she didn't have because the computers were down. Sent me to another clinic for an x-ray. Wasted a whole day when I should have just gone to the hospital ER.

Dr. White Fricker takes care of my mom. She's been patient, attentive, understanding of her and the family's needs. She spends the time necessary. I felt as though my mom was her only patient & she never once looked at her watch to check the time.

My experience with Dr. White's office was horrible because of the receptionists and not by contact with doctors who were recommended by colleagues. The two receptionists (one was a young girl at front desk and second was an older woman) were insensitive and plain rude. I waited for weeks for my appointment and was seven minutes late (due to work and due to traffic and finally due to being lost...) -- I was reprimanded by the young receptionist and told that the doctor cannot see me. I was surprised and they agreed to check with the doctor. I was then told that I will have to wait an indefinite amount of time. I was told to pay my deductible and as I was fumbling for my wallet I realized that I left it at work. I asked that they bill me since they had all my information on file. Instead the two receptionists gave me nasty humiliating looks and said that first time patient cannot be billed. Note that many of my company's employees go to this office and my insurance care info was already… on file. I left. There was nothing related to well-being in that reception area.

I was incredibly impressed today. Dr White-Fricker made me feel like I was the only patient she had to see today. I had an xray done 2 weeks ago and she called me herself (off hours) to let me know what the result was and to see how I was doing. I have found my experience as a patient under her care to be refreshing.

She performs just the minimal services required for a visit. I was once told by her 'Do you want to get your blood pressure done today or would you prefer an adjustment.' What?... Any other doctor I go to automatically tests my temperature and blood pressure and then proceeds with the appointment-often testing for multiple problems on one visit. If you are looking for a general doctor I would look elsewhere.
