Since 2007 I’ve specialized in the treatment of trauma, substance abuse, and chronic illness with an emphasis on somatic techniques. My practice is for adults over 21, and my approach is to collaborate with you on a plan focused on your goals. Best practice for trauma suggests that at least one year of active recovery is essential before starting treatment.
Together we will work through what brings you to therapy while finding ways to enhance your well-being. Both the difficult and feeling-better aspects of therapy are key to sustaining desired change, especially during transitions that accompany aging, relationships, career, grief, and recovery from substance use.
Outside the office I can be found walking, biking, or backpacking in Colorado’s playground or solving the daily Wordle and reading from my stack of …books. My life’s joys include a loving partner, learning to cook without a recipe, and hanging out with my black Labrador “lap” dog.
