Dr. Y is one of the best pediatricians I have had for my kids. She is very thorough, always pleasant and patient, an expert in assessing what is wrong and prescribing effective meds. From the first call to her office I was impressed. The nurse was very pleasant on the phone, was very understanding of my situation, and did her best to get us into the office as soon as possible, which was a Saturday. I have not had any bad experience with her staff. They are very pleasant, interactive, and caring towards my kids. Kids were scared of getting the flu shot, the staff worked as a team to distract them and it was over before they even realized. I find them to be very sensitive to the needs of my children. I would highly recommend Dr. Y based on my experience. Even if she sees you outside of her office she remains pleasant and engaging. Nice Doc! She has walk-in appointments 8 to 10 am, and 1 to 3 pm every day, that makes fulfilling an emergency appoint very convenient. She is also close to… USF and four elementary schools, her office is very accessible to families within that vicinity. On the down side, maybe because she is such an expert, there can be a lot of patients depending on the time of day you are there, but the staff works very fast at getting everyone seen as quickly as possible.

Dr. Yakabu is one of the best dr's you can find for both your child and you as the parent. She is open 6 days a week with walk-ins any day of the week. How convenient is that. I have never had a bad experience with her or her staff. The dr always listens to what you have to say and then gives her input. Her staff has a great demeanor and always is organized. The staff has a huge load on them from day to day with the walk in but they handle it like as if it's nothing. Love this doctor, Love this staff and my children love them as well. Its never I don't want to go or please no shots. This drs office is the best dr me and my children have ever had. Thank you for all your hard work and your caring attitudes. It really makes a difference!!!
