My first ever dentist visit was utterly painful because of Dr. Elleen Cohen. She was working with Columbia Dental when I visited her. She told me that I had 1 cavity and I really doubt that now. I think she would have just did it to claim from my insurance. But any way that's speculation. And let me get to facts. She said I just had 1 cavity and needs filling. No explanation was provided and she did not really show me any x-rays. I left the office feeling pain in the tooth where cavity was filled. Thought it was normal. It has becomes extremely sensitive. I waited for two weeks before I called the office and they asked me to come over. She did not do the filling properly and my bite was off it seems. So she kind of redrilled without anesthesia to set it. It took close to 2 months before sensitivity subsided. After that I went to the clinic for 3 years but I was lucky that other doctors look at and it was okay with them. Recently I moved to Arizona and went to local dentist… here for 6 month regular checkup. He said all is well but I need to take care of the tooth where filling was done. He showed the Xray and explained how poorly filling was done. The filling wasn't smooth. So food can get stuck easily. After his explanation I understood why when doing floss, the thread always stuck there and I had to pull it. So I decided to write the review and expose the incompetency of Dr. Elleen Cohen.
