Dr. Ellen Maurine Dolson

She is one of the worst doctors I've ever seen. She began our appointment by asking me why I hadn't come in for a month since the injury. When I told her that I thought I'd heal on my own and I came when it appeared I wasn't, she repeated twice that I should have come in. I didn't need such accusations. She did no evaluation at all and flippantly stated a diagnosis & offered medicine (based on no evaluation) that made no sense at all. When I asked her why she came up with that diagnosis, she gave no answer other than, "I know because I've been practicing for 25 years." I told her that it's possible to go to 10 doctors with the same problem and you'll get 10 different conclusions, so I want to know the thinking so that I can decide myself what I think is going on with my body; she admitted that was true, but she still would not explain her thinking.When I repeated that I wanted an evaluation, first she wanted me to process why we weren't getting along. That's absurd! I insisted… on an evaluation, so she sent me for an x-ray. The only good thing she did was have me see a real doctor when I returned for the results, one who did 1/2 hour of tests of my injury and had a real diagnosis, completely different from what Dr. Dolson had. I will NEVER see this doctor again. It's past my comprehension why Kaiser employs her.
