Dr. Ellen Celeste Gaughan, MD

I have concerns regarding an assessment of my cognitive performance, particularly in light of my medical history which includes a traumatic brain injury (TBI), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). During the evaluation, I was under significant sedation due to pain management, which may have impacted my ability to perform optimally. Additionally, she seemed to have some skepticism about my prescribed dosage of Dilaudid (24 mg per day). Given these circumstances, I find it challenging to fully trust the conclusions drawn from the assessment.

Dr. Gaughan has been a lifesaver. She listens intently to your problems and offers life changing advice. So Ed us highly knowledgeably about medicine and expert in pain management. I highly recommend visiting her. Worth every penny.

Poor bedside manner. Prescribed me two medications after talking with me for 5 minutes and without doing any tests. One of the medications was for seizures/headaches (I don’t have a seizure disorder) and it made me VERY ill

rip off 200 dollars down to secure appointment told it would be refunded treated like crud or whale poo don't go there

Worst beside manner EVER. Makes sure she gets paid 100% before you get your prescriptions, if anything. Rarely gives out what is appropriate and makes you feel like scum until you are crying in the parking lot. Go anyplace else.

Dr. Gaughan's staff is kind and caring, unlike herself. When she sees my father, she addresses my mother as if he is not sitting there. Mind you, he is fully capable of communicating. She doesn't seem to know his name. She speaks to both of my parents as if they are children, she is impatiently and condescending. They always leave feeling discouraged and disappointed , as they were spoken down to or rudely for the entire appointment.

Dr. Gaughan is both precise and knowledgeable in her field as well as considerate of her patients' needs and new medical findings in Neurology.

Has a very good bedside manner. Highly knowledgeable and shows a genuine concern every time I have been in to see her! I would highly recommend her.

Horrible bed side manner. Leaves the room while seeing you to give scripts. She doesnt listen, her staff is almost non existent. The office is old, and not welcoming at all. She is not good to see at all if you have anything going on that you are very worried about. I give her a F.
