When Dr Hope closed her practice, my husband and I grieved. She is a compassionate and caring professional.

Prepare to wait to be seen longer than you probably ever have, but also expect to actually see the doctor longer than you probably ever have! She is incredibly thorough and can detect ailments far beyond the scope of neurological. For nearly a decade she has been the most consistent at not only treating the symptoms but of getting to the root cause of my illnesses. She is very much worth the wait!

Dr. Hope is one of the most professional, educated and kind doctors I have ever seen. She spends a lot of time with me at every appointment and has helped me get an accurate diagnosis for my arthritis condition--when no other doctor could give me a straight answer. She is a REAL doctor, whose professional skills are beyond reproach! You will have to wait to be seen at her office, but she has comfortable couches and she is worht the wait!

Dr. Ellen E. Hope is one of the most considerate, caring, while remaining professional in her demeanor and consistently and constantly conscious about the health and welfare of her patients. I have known Dr. Hope prior to trusting her to be my doctor and now as her patient for more than 20 years. I know that she takes EVERY precaution possible to ensure that her patients are not abusing her or her practice. It is a privilege to have a doctor who takes time to know her patients, their symptoms, diagnose their illnesses, finds their cures when possible, and treats chronically ill and/or injured people (who are seldom easy people to be around). In response to the person complaining that Dr. Hope is responsible for their family member's behavior, I suggest individual responsibility, advising Dr. Hope's office of your concerns, and confronting your loved one. Complaint online about a professional who is an excellent physician and who's medical practice is above reproach should do… something about her family situation, if it truly is out of control, because an addict will get drugs from any source. Or, she should stop complaining about it if not. Man while, there are many, many doctors in the OKC-area who do not care to spend even 5 minutes of time with their patients before giving 10-15 narcotic prescriptions. Dr. Hope has never spent less than 2 hours with me at any office visit and is always extremely thorough. I've referred more than 50 patients to her with the same/similar experiences. The complaining person doesn't even know to be thankful that her family member has a doctor who cares and is actually taking good care of their family member!! Dr. Hope is an excellent physician and Oklahoma is blessed to have her practicing medicine here!!

Dr. Hope is wonderful. She has helped me thru what I thought was the impossible. I am able to talk to her about anything and everything and she listens. I just cant say enough about how wonderful she and her staff is. Because of her I am able to live a normal life with my child.Thank you, Dr Hope xoxo

For over two decades I have seen dozens of doctors, many of which are neurologists, to help with my medical issues. I found Dr. Hope in 2007 and at that time, I was unwilling to follow the treatment plan she felt I needed. I felt I didn't have the time and wasn't willing to undergo the discomfort involved. Four years later I had become unable to work and even do daily activities. I am back on track with her and her treatment plans for me and am showing progress. Every time I have seen her it has been a pleasant experience. If I don't understand something, she will take all the time needed to explain it; If I feel something is not working the way I want it to, she will listen and give me other options. She is one of the few doctors left that is able to mesh her knowledge with her true compassion to find what each patient needs to gain a better quality of life. She is also humble enough that if there comes an issue she is unfamiliar with, she will research it or refer you to another… provider. Never have I had a doctor that was able to piece together my many diverse symptoms and come up with a reasonable solution. She is compassionate, intelligent, delightful and very much worth the wait.

She needs to be updated on her knowledge of chiari malformation. Before she makes her opinion she should have knowledge on the subject. The 4 hour wait to see her was a complete waist of my time! I would not recomend her to anyone. If you do go to see her make sure you do not bring your MRI on a CD because she will flip out and start cursing. By the way Dr. Hope it is 3-5 mm not cm!

She takes all the time she needs with each individual patient and you should call ahead if waiting is bothersome. It is well worth the wait!

Spends lots of time with paitents. Breaks everything down to insure you understand what she is telling you.
