I saw this dentist for an infected tooth. She was very cold and business-like when she told me I would have to have a root canal. Maybe more than one. She then walked out and one of her staff came in, clipboard in hand and sat herself down. She informed me that the dentist wanted 2 thousand dollars from me up-front, or she would not treat me further. I have dental insurance through my full time job, so I thought it was strange that she could make such a demand . To be sure I heard correctly, I asked "2 thousand dollars? All of it right now?" The staff member closed her eyes exasperatedly and shook her head slowly, in a very superior manner. I then removed the bib, which no one had bothered to take off me and walked out. This dentist is a stuck up, money loving woman with a superior, elite, upper class attitude. The staff seem like lower to middle class women, but they act like she does to please her, I guess. Stay away from this stinker, unless you are a very wealthy person who does… not have to work hard for your money. I have since found a dentist who let me work out a payment plan.
