Dr. Kaufman is one of the most caring, professional doctors my family has had the pleasure of seeing. She goes out of her way to ensure patients and parents understand what is happening and really cares for her patients.

Dr. Kaufman was an amazing doctor! She always made me feel 'normal' and wasn't harsh with me. She was more then clear with what I needed to do but she was mice about it. She knew how to keep my diabetes in check and was the sweetest caring doctor. I like her more then my current pediatric endocrinologist. :/ I miss you Dr. Kaufman!

Today I tried to schedule a consult with Dr. Kaufman to discuss a problem with my child and to see if she would be able to help with a hormonal problem that he is experiencing. Her receptionist was very discourtous. She refused to even check to see what help my son needed, or to see if it was something that Dr. Kaufman treated. She demanded a refural from our primary care (was not interested in a referal from another Endocrinologist) and after five minutes of my begging for some help on the phone, I hung up without an appointment or consultation to call another doctor. The other doctor's staff promptly requested records from the other endocrinologist and my sons primary care. I am told they will call today to discuss his case with me. I would have expected the same treatment from Dr. Kaufman's staff.
