Dr. Ellen Siobhan Marmur, MD

In the past, I found Dr. Marmur to be an excellent dermatologist. But, recently, she is giving her sewing of wounds to newbies. She did surgery on my leg, and had a newbie sew the outside of the wound. It is taking over four months to heal (not fully healed yet) and looks awful. Although she is a good doctor, I would not recommend her to do any surgery unless she does the sewing.

I will not go back to Dr. Marmur. My experience at her office was so sub-par, I cannot return. When I arrived, each nurse/technician I told me I was in for a different procedure. After my treatment, they left me in the treatment room waiting for Dr. Marmur, who never came. I had to walk out to the office to tell them no one ever came back. They did not even apologize. When I was checking out, they didn't give me a post-treatment regime. (What? I've never had this happen) When I asked for one, they first said: "I don't know if I can print it." When I pushed, they gave me the paperwork. Something is wrong with an extremely expensive doctor who delivers such terrible care.

Went for cosmetic refresh and left with allergic reaction that Dr Marmur denied and belittled me for. Eventually referred me to a plastic surgeon who said I would need surgical removal removal of the welts under my eyes. This is all because she refused to admit I had an allergic reaction to her fillers. She is charming at first, even though chronically behind schedule, but she will throw you under a bus before she admits she has done anything wrong. Ruthless and greedy practitioner. I am fortunate that I found another doctor who was able to successfully treat my reaction without surgical intervention. With no help from Dr. Marmur. AVOID.

Dr. Marmur is one of the best injectors around. If you are contemplating seeing a cosmetic dermatologist, look no further. She is skilled, professional, extremely pleasant and patient. Her office is beautiful and immaculate and her staff couldn’t be nicer (Fernando is a doll!) As a fellow physician, I recommend her without hesitation.

Ellen is a true sociopath and will do harm then laugh about it, go to a real derm or be sorry. Unfortunate for her, she underestimates others because she herself, is not smart enough, I mean she did have to attend the Barnyard afterall. Horrible 'dr', you would be safer at medispa.

I went to Dr. Marmur for rejuvenation around my mouth. She injected 3 vials of Restalyne at a cost of $950 per vial, mostly in my upper face, saying it would lift the sagging. The immediate results looked promising; however when the swelling went down a few days later, there was absolutely NO improvement in my sagging. I am heart broken I wasted almost $3000. I am writing this review to save others the same fate.
